These terms cover your use of MangaTrace (https://mangatrace.its-tahir.com). By using the site you agree to them. They are written to be read, so they are short.

What MangaTrace is

MangaTrace is a free tool that prepares an image in your browser and hands it to third-party image search engines, and that looks up titles on AniList from filters you choose. It has no manga database of its own and does not host manga.

Provided as is

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that a search will find a match, that results are correct, or that the site or any engine will always be available. Engines change how they work without notice, and a hand-off that works today may stop working.

No affiliation

MangaTrace is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SauceNAO, IQDB, Google, Yandex, Microsoft (Bing) or AniList. Their names are used only to tell you where your image goes. All manga, manhwa and manhua titles and artwork belong to their creators and publishers.

Using the search engines

When you send an image to an engine, you are using that engine's service, and its terms and limits apply. Respect them: do not automate searches through MangaTrace, do not try to get around daily or short-term search limits, and use your own key only within the plan it was issued for.

What you may not upload

• anything illegal, including any sexual content involving minors,
• adult or explicit material (the site is built to be safe for work),
• images you have no right to share, or personal photos of other people,
• anything meant to harm, harass or break a service.

No piracy

MangaTrace helps you find a title's name. It does not link to unofficial reading or download sites, and you may not use it to promote them. Engines sometimes show such sites in their results; those results are not ours. Please read on official platforms.

Your SauceNAO key

If you add your own SauceNAO API key, you are responsible for it. It stays in your browser. You can remove it at any time with "Forget key".

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, Tahir Nazir is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using MangaTrace, from third-party engines or sites you reach through it, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes, for example when ads are added. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
